These rates are for one or two guests in a room. Additional guests are $25 per night. Rollaway beds are available and will fit in some rooms.
A two-night minimum is necessary on weekends from April thru October. A three or four night minimum is required for many special events as well as University of the South and St. Andrews Sewanee school events.
The Monteagle Inn & Retreat Center is a smoke-free building with plenty of covered outdoor space to accommodate our smoking guests.
In consideration of our guests and the requirements of our insurance, the Monteagle Inn welcomes children ten years of age and above.
We love pets but do not accept them as guests at the Inn. The Jungle Room a block away will board your loved one for you.
For our guests convenience a 7.5% service charge is added to our room prices as well as local and state taxes.
STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY:
Any cancellations within 15 days of arrival will be charged in full.
SPECIAL WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY POLICY:
On Special Events, University of the South Sewanee Graduation or Parent's Weekend, St. Andrew's Graduation and Holidays, due to numerous requests from our guests, we have changed from a wait list policy to a book now policy. Guest's may reserve rooms up to 3 years in advance. Payment in full is required at the time the reservation is made with a check. This guarantees your room for the special event. We will hold a room for 7 days with a phone reservation while waiting for a check to arrive. If a credit card is used for payment, there will be a 3% credit card handling fee added. Reservation payments are non-refundable. If a reservation is cancelled and the Monteagle Inn & Retreat Center is able to re-book the room, a 75% refund will be made for the re-booked nights.
