It has been a spectacular Fall across the Cumberland Plateau and many guests and locals considered it the best they have ever seen.
October was filled with delightful activities especially the Monteagle Halloween Parade down Main Street. Lots of kids, parents and participants had an outstanding afternoon and evening. This is an example of the charm & joy of small town living.
The Christmas Parade next month will be just as much fun with Santa in the park afterwards with hot chocolate.
On Veteran's Day we provided free lodging and our "mountain gourmet" breakfast to vets and their spouses. It was a very moving experience for all of us and a small way to say thank you for their sacrifices for our country.
