The Sewanee Summer Music Festival continues thru July 22nd. Check out their festivities @ www.sewaneemusicfestival.org and see which concerts and performances you can enjoy. The festival is such a wonderful asset to the mountain community and the students who are chosen to participate in it.

On Saturday, July 7th, we will our Red White & Blue Wine Extravaganza with red & white wines and blue cigar smoke. We have 40 for $5, where we will offer 40 wines by the glass at only $5 for a generous 6oz pour. It will be a lot of fun. Of course Tallulah’s is open every day for your enjoyment

On Saturday, July 21st, we will have our West Coast Wine Dinner with six wines from Washington, Oregon and California paired with five delicious courses especially prepared to enhance the wines using vegetables & herbs from our gardens. Reservations are required and only 14 tables will be offered. The cost is only $54.99++ per person, so hurry and call for your reservation.

We have received a great deal of feedback about our Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence for the year of 2012. It turns out that there are only a few Tripadvisor 5 star ratings in Tennessee and less than fifty in the entire Southeast including restaurants, hotels, resorts, etc. We are truly humbled and honored that you rate us this highly, especially two years in a row. We are committed to continue our superior service to you in every way possible.

Another honor was Southern Living featuring us in an article in their July issue about Sewanee and how much fun it is, especially on the 4th of July. They reported “…an idyllic lifestyle that most of us see only on black-and-white TV. The vibe is unquestionably Southern, and it breeds an uncommon devotion among locals and visitors alike” The article highlighted some of our favorite places to eat and shop in Sewanee and only one place to stay, with us. They highlighted our ”beautifully appointed suites and impressive wine cellar”. Wow! This is our third time to be featured by this wonderful magazine and we truly appreciate it.
