Wow! What a beautiful Spring we are having on the Mountain. The flowers are blooming and the birds are singing. A number of our herbs are being harvested and enjoyed in our meals. What a glorious time to get out and enjoy all of the bounty of our area.

The Friends of the South Cumberland State Park are sponsoring the 9th annual Trails & Trilliums the weekend of April 20th -22nd. There will be guided hikes, garden tours, native plant sales and lots of activities for the whole family. A special new feature this year is an art sale by painters representing the Chestnut Group from Nashville. They will be painting Saturday during the garden tours and selling the paintings that night at the inn. Of course our favorite activity is the Wine and Wildflowers Celebration Saturday night at the inn with music, awards presentations and of course our delicious wine and food. The 16th Annual Cornbread Festival in South Pittsburg will be held the 28th & 29th of April. The event draws over 12,000 people who enjoy arts & crafts, home tours, rides, a wonderful variety of food vendors and cornbread of course. Tallulah's Wine Lounge will featuring several new wines by the glass beginning in April. We have some new cheeses we are excited about as well. Come and enjoy these fabulous finds with us.
