Due to our mixture of dry and rainy spells we are blessed with a long developing fall with a kaleidoscope of colors. The weather could not be more perfect with beautiful warm days and cool nights. As the leaves change and fall from their branches, the vistas really open up to showcase the beauty of our mountain for you. We are busy planning several events for the next few months and wanted to give you enough notice to be able to schedule an excuse to escape to the mountain.

We will have a fun weekend to end 2011 and welcome 2012 with a New Year's Eve Dinner on Saturday, December 31st. The dinner will be $45 without wine or ordered wines and $65 per person with a selection of wines chosen for the dinner. You can always choose from our collection of over 300 wines.

Monteagle and Sewanee celebrate our annual "Fog Festival" on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 10th-12th. There will be lots of activities happening all over the mountain so plan to join us for a great weekend. It is the weekend before Valentine's Day on Tuesday, February 14th, so if you can't make it on Tuesday, come for the weekend. I know that Tallulah's Wine Lounge is planning something special.

We will be having a Romantic Valentine's Dinner on Tuesday, February 14th. The dinner is only $39.95 without wine and $49.95 with our selected wines. Candies, champagne and chocolates and a delicious dinner with your sweetheart. It will be a night and weekend to remember.

Our neighbor, Chattanooga, was just named by Outside magazine as the "Best Town Ever" when readers were asked to name their ultimate dream town. Wow, what a compliment to be #1 in the entire nation. Chattanooga does provide so many resources and wonderful things for our guests to do if they can tear themselves away.
