Greetings from the mountain and lots of snow! The snow is beautiful but there is so much of it. The good news is that our renovation is on schedule.

Our staff and contractors braved well over a foot of snow to get to the Inn and keep it running and work on the renovation. The new floors are going to be beautiful!

We will have lots of new surprises for you on your next visit, both small & large.

"Escape to our Treasure, Treasure your Escape"

The following weekend is the 4th Annual Fog Festival in Monteagle-Sewanee with lots of activities all across our beautiful mountain. Monteagle Inn will feature a wine tasting on Saturday, February 12th from 1 until 3pm featuring 6 wines and delicious hors d’oeuvres for only $25 per person.

Monteagle just celebrated its first annual “Low Country Boil” to raise funds for the South Cumberland State Park and it was a tremendous success. There was lots of delicious food and fun shared by a couple hundred people. It is always rewarding to see what a dedicated bunch of volunteers can do for a good cause. My hat is off to them.

Lee & Jim just returned from the annual convention of the Professional Association of Innkeepers International and Select Registry Conference in Charleston where we met with hundreds of other innkeepers from around the country and attended numerous seminars. We learned a great deal from the seminars and interaction with other innkeepers, especially about how we can continue to provide you with a superior experience at the inn. We even added a couple of items to our renovation program to enhance your next stay with us from some of the ideas we heard. We agree with PAII that good Bed & Breakfasts are “A Better Way to Stay”.
