We are scrambling to get the vegetables, herbs and flowers going so that we may enjoy them in our meals. The reworked gardens look beautiful.

We are very excited to open our Wine Lounge on Friday, April 1st. We will feature several wines by the glass, monthly bottle specials and delicious hors d'ouvres available and paired with the wines. All in the comfort of our wonderful Great Room. Initially, we will have the Wine Lounge open on weekends until 8pm. Drop by and enjoy a delicious glass of wine. As always, our very extensive wine collection is also available for your enjoyment
Our First Saturday Spring Harvest Dinner is on April 2nd at 6pm. We will have some delicious local ingredients in 4 full courses for $25 per person and wines available by the glass and bottle. Check our website for details and menu.
Friends of the South Cumberland State Park are sponsoring the 8th Perennial Trails & Trilliums on April 16th and 17th. There will be an extensive array of activities from hikes, native plant sales, art show, garden tours to workshops. On Saturday the 16th ,we will host Wine & Wildflowers at the Inn from 5 until 7pm with some very special wines, delicious cheeses and goodies and the Yeatman award will be presented. This year we have added a silent auction and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Friends group. Monteagle Inn & Retreat Center is honored to be a Corporate Sponsor again this year. We will close the month at South Pittsburgh's National Cornbread Festival on April 29th, 30th & May 1st. They specialize in fabulous cornbreads complimented with 60+ Arts & Crafts Vendors which include some of the South's Finest. What a wonderful weekend!
