* Rates are effective January 1 thru December 31, 2008 and do not include applicable taxes and 7.5 % service charge.
EXTRA GUESTS: These rates are for one or two guests in a room. Additional guests are $25 per night. Rollaway beds are available and will fit in some rooms.
RESERVATIONS: A two-night minimum is necessary on weekends from April thru October. A three-night minimum is necessary for special weekends and events.
SMOKING POLICY: The Monteagle Inn is a smoke-free building with plenty of covered outdoor space to accommodate our smoking guests.
CHILDREN: In consideration of our guests and the requirements of our insurance, the Monteagle Inn welcomes children ten years of age and above.
PETS: We love pets but do not accept them as guests at the Inn. The Jungle Room a block away will board your loved one for you.
PRICING: For our guest convenience a 7.5% service charge is added to our room prices as well as local and state taxes.
STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations may be cancelled before 15 days prior to arrival without any penalty. Reservations cancelled between 15 and 8 days prior to arrival will result in a cancellation charge of 100% of one nights lodging for each room reserved. Reservations cancelled 8 days or less prior to arrival will result in a cancellation charge of 100% of the entire stay for each room reserved.
SPECIAL WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY POLICY: On special Sewanee weekends and Holidays, the reservation is paid in full by check. Once paid, the reservation is non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation and forfeiture, if we are able to rent the rooms for all of the reserved nights, we will refund 75% of the room rate.
