Free seating is first come, first served Bill Evans was one of the most gifted jazz pianists of all time. His style and sensibility, which incorporated influences of hard-swinging bebop and the harmonies of European masters Ravel and Debussy, left a mark on an entire generation of jazz pianists. Evans also revolutionized the approach to the jazz trio. Pianist Bruce Dudley has studied Evans’ music extensively and has become a gifted interpreter of his style. In Jazz on the Move, he will discuss the life and work of Evans and perform some of his finest works.
