Sewanee Elementary School is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair now through Oct. 1. The fair will be open Thursday until 3 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m.–noon. Funds raised will help purchase books for the library.  Families, faculty and the community are invited to attend this fun reading event with the theme “Here’s to Our Heroes! Reading Saves the Day!” The fair offers specially priced books and  educational products, including children’s classics, awardwinning titles, new releases, interactive software, adult best sellers and other great reads from more than 100 publishers.  Book Fair customers may help the school build classroom libraries and improve children’s reading skills by purchasing books through the Classroom Wish List and One for Books programs.  Contact Cheryl King or Amy Dye at 598-9163 with any questions.
