Grand Illumination and Christmas on the River

As the first event in the Winter Days and Lights series, Christmas on the River and Grande Illumination ignite the holiday spirit on the Friday following Thanksgiving, at Ross' Landing. The event begins with a lighted boat parade on the Tennessee River . After the parade, Santa Claus dazzles the audience with a dramatic entrance followed by a radiant show of lights along with dancing and singing by the Lindsay Fussel Dancers and Choo Choo Kids. Following the performance, the evening comes to a glittering conclusion with a fireworks finale, signaling the illumination of the city’s skyline for the holiday season.
