We just had a fantastic , the oldest winery in Napa Valley. Mr. Tom Conrad, Executive VP of Krug Winery, flew in for the dinner and entertained all of us with his knowledge of The Peter Mondavi Family and their wine history. The wines were fabulous and the food spectacular. Chef Dee was at her best. A surprising pairing was lump Maryland Crabmeat and California Avocado paired with the 2005 Charles Krug Merlot. The oil in the avocado really brought out the fruit of the Merlot- delicious.
