The Assembly Room

Named for the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly across the street which was founded in 1882. Our oversized living room is divided into 4 separate areas so that our guest may have their privacy and space. There are two TVs with cable, one with DVD & VHS capabilities for your enjoyment. There are seven couches, four reclining wingbacks, another dozen chairs for your comfort, as well as game tables and a library area for your quiet reflective times. In season, the large fireplace provides the warmth & special moments for our guests. The entire inn is equipped with wireless high-speed internet.

The Cumberland Room

Named for the expansive and beautiful Cumberland Plateau which provides our environment and continual enjoyment. This is our dining room where we provide your "mountain gourmet" breakfast each morning. Each guestroom has its own table available for your dining pleasure & enjoyment. The antique French dining room table in the center of the room was purchased by the Harmons in New Orleans and has been enjoyed for a number of years. The Cumberland Room also is the site for dinners, lunches, banquets, Rehearsal Dinners, Wedding Receptions and other special events throughout the year.

The Plateau Conference Room

Named in honor of the Beautiful Cumberland Plateau on which we make our home and explore constantly. This private conference room is only steps from the main building yet seems like miles away from any other place. Up to 30 attendees may be accommodated for a retreat or meeting. The room is equipped with a projection screen, video projector, PolyCom speaker phone, TV with DVD/VHS, flipcharts, wireless internet and hardwired DSL for your productivity during your meeting. Original photographs of nearby waterfalls and visas show you some of the wonders of the plateau that await you after the meeting. A collection of Italian pottery is on display on shelves on a back wall and is used for dinners & functions. A new bathroom with 3 water closets opens into the conference room and onto the patio for your convenience.

The Monteagle Inn's Wine Cellar

Monteagle Inn has an outstanding temperature controlled wine cellar for the wine enjoyment of our guests.

Our wine philosophy is one of focusing on wonderful wines from around the world. We strive to provide a variety of interesting and delicious wines for your edification, pleasure and education.

Our focus is providing value wines in all price ranges from $15 to $300. We seek out the best wines for all budgets. Whatever your selection, you may rest assured that the wine you choose has been carefully researched and procured for your enjoyment.

We have developed a wine list for you which is unique in the broad selections of wineries, vintages and bottle sizes. A great deal of research and tasting has gone into the development of this wine collection. We hope that you enjoy your selection.
